Police are investigating the discovery Monday morning of a man's body wrapped in plastic behind a Mexican restaurant on the Northeast Side.
Police are calling the victim's death a homicide. Officials with the Bexar County medical examiner's office are waiting to release his identity until his relatives are found.

His death is the 24th homicide in San Antonio this year, according to police. Last year, there were 20 homicides in the city to date.
Police stand by a dead body that was found behind the Tejas Cafe.

It is very, very brazen, said SAPD Sgt. Pat Michalec.
The victim's ankles were tied together, and shoes were still on his feet.

It appears he may have been hog-tied, Bradley said.
EMS reported the victim appeared to have suffered some kind of head trauma.
The victim appeared to be in his 20s or 30s, Michalec said.
