A severe storm warning for Marion and Hendricks counties as wells as northern Johnson County expired at 4:15 p.m. A warning indicates that dangerous weather is imminent.

Doppler radar at 3:05 p.m. showed a line of storms with golf ball-sized hail and winds in excess of 60 mph.

It was on 16 miles southeast of Crawfordsville and 21 miles northwest of Bloomington and moving northeast at 30 mph, forecasters said. The front can inflict gusting winds and possible hail, heavy downpours and lightning, forecasters said. Rainfall may measure from a half-inch to an inch.
