Jakarta (ANTARA) - Share prices are expected to open slightly higher on a technical rebound after sharp falls in the last two days, with gains on Wall Street overnight helping lift sentiment, dealers said.
Yesterday, the composite index closed down 70.

514 points, or 3.96 pct, at 1,710.367.

Volume was 4.39 bln shares valued at 3.64 trln rupiah.

The LQ-45 was down 16.630 points at 368.599.

In early trade, the rupiah was at 9,060/9,065 to the dollar, compared to 9,075/9,080 late yesterday.
"Given the market's sharp falls over the past two days, the market should see a technical rebound today," Luki Aryapama, an analyst with Panin Capital, told XFN Asia.
"The gains on Wall Street overnight, may trigger interest in selected stocks that have recorded sharp falls over the past two days," David Ferdinandus, an analyst with PT Anugerah Tiara Sekurindo said, though he warned prices may still be volatile overall.
