I'm going to disagree with that band name.
Posted by: Alex at November 22, 2006 5:05 PM I'll second the recommendation. Great band, great fellas.
Posted by: at November 22, 2006 10:51 PM Dappled are awesome. Get on board.
Posted by: Ryan at November 22, 2006 11:01 PM Can see the 'inoffensive' shins comparison, but the vocals are pretty offensively annoying.
Posted by: Mike at November 23, 2006 12:30 AM didn't jim fairchild (ex-Grandaddy) produce this new record? i think he did
Posted by: Capt Rock at November 23, 2006 1:31 PM This band is great. Reminds me of Mew.

Posted by: lu at November 26, 2006 4:54 AM can we drop "dappled cities fly" and go to an acronym permanently?
??
Posted by: arlo at November 27, 2006 1:02 AM Great band!
Glad to see them FINALLY getting some coverage in the US. They won the Top Australian Band list this year too.
Posted by: at November 27, 2006 4:07 AM Posted by: carosparrow at November 29, 2006 5:12 PM Granddance is amazing!
I love the whole album. It's awesome, I've become a bit obsessed and can't stop playing it.
Their live shows are brilliant too.
Check out their debut album 'A Smile', it's a little more obscure but I really dig it...
Granddance brings them up to a new level tho.
This band are going to go far.
Posted by: carosparrow at November 29, 2006 5:43 PM Posted by: the freak at December 4, 2006 3:28 AM What a band.
I am going to be so proud of them when they go far. And they will. And noone deserves it more.
Finally people will see what I have been crapping on about for the past couple of years and not just think I am some crazed nutcase!!!
Posted by: the freak at December 4, 2006 3:35 AM They're definitely one to watch. Their debut was a pretty awesome effort. I then saw them live and they were great, and 'Granddance' is further proof that not only are they producing great music, but, more importantly, there's potential for growth and even more mind-blowing material in the future.
It's also proof that for every Wolfmother and Jet, Australia has a band like DCF as a kind of...
reparation...
Posted by: rich at December 4, 2006 4:25 AM Who gives a toss what their name is ?
The first album was also the bollocks, sorry "very good"
as well.
