After a last week s appearance on American Idol some are saying Albemarle native Kellie Pickler looks more like her idol Dolly Parton.
Pickler returned Thursday night to the show that made her famous.
She not only sang her new single I Wonder, she also debuted a new look. Pickler wore a low-cut blue dress and sported a shorter hairdo and curls.

Pickler s friend from Albemarle, Summer Holt Miller, said in a previous interview with WCNC that Kellie has always admired Dolly.
She finally got to meet her idol and was so excited about that, Miller said.
Picker sang a song about her mother on last Thursday night live Idol results show. Before her performance she chatted on stage live with host Ryan Seacrest.
