The Tattoo Your Diamond website has a virtual diamond you can put a message on as I've done in the picture here.

2. Sure, it certainly can be erased..
. it can be erased be another laser.
3.
as a jeweler I'd like to point out it can be very easily polished off no laser required to do so
4. There is no way I'd put any writing on my 2.5 carat D-color Flawless ring!
!!!
My Fiance' would shit a brick..lol.
5. ewwwwwwwwww, more diamonds not that shit! 6.
What's the point? You can't see it unless you study the diamond! 2.
5 carat D color...
maybe. Flawless..
.no such thing. (sounds good though)
7.
To "M": Either you do NOT actually have a 2.5 carat D- color, Internally flawless diamond ring (which I have some doubt), or you truly epitomize pretentiousness.
8.
Guys, its an article about diamond tattooing. Not about bashing the other bloggers. I know everyone's parental influences tried to teach us manners.
Lets be nice okay? As for the diamond, its an interesting idea, but, as another jeweler and a stone cutter, Jane is right. It can be polished off but it would ruin the stones proportions and a new grade for those proportions would be needed, possibly dropping the value.
And D, Flawless diamonds do exsist. They are just extraordinarily expensive and even rarer, so if M has one, she's a lucky girl and should hold onto it until death parts her from this mortal coil..
.also go have it appraised and insured honey. For safety.
Very interesting article.
9. D-colour and flawless diamond.
..that's what cubic zirconia is generally compared to.
Coincidence? Better not get that "diamond" appraised or the jeweler will laugh his ass off!
10.
Why does everyone care so much what someone else does with their diamond? It's not hurting anybody if I decide to "tattoo" my diamond. Would I do it?
Probably not. But, ever hear of live and let live?
11.
My sister is 26 and wears a perfect 2 carat diamond on her hand...
I own a boutique and actally see lots of women with beautiful diamonds everyday. Very large as well. Why is it hard to believe that alot of people have these?
Just curious??
12.
I think it's a great idea becuase if we break up then and his fault, he can't give it to someone else with my name on it.hahaha
13. To the envious people on here.
..I feel sorry for people like you.
Frank you wouldn't know your ass from your elbow and well...
Jewel..your'e just sad.
Thank you Jessie for being kind and intelligent. Frank is clueless..
My stone is a flawless and it is magnificent. My Fiance' is a businessman from South Africa and it was purchased through Debeers. So hardly a jeweler laughing their ass off about that as Assrora pointed out.
Yes Jessie, I am very lucky and it sure is insured.
14. Dang, gratefully all your snippy comments probably fell on deaf ears.
I am guessing like 99% of these posters, 4K Flawless, posted and never came back. Such ugliness ..
. there are people out there that own precious gems, why not her? Get over your hurtful selves.
15. "Diamonds are a girl's best friend" because if things go wrong you can sell them! Preserve the value.
SO many ignorant Yupskadoodle people think they are immune from layoffs, serious illness and hard times. You are not.
16.
I wonder if they can do this with fakes? Makes a lot more sense. I wouldn't spend a lot on a diamond for my woman.
I think it's just too much, and makes you a magnet for a criminal.
17. Come on girls!
Does size matter???
18. Samantha..
it's really none of your damn business what I wish to say in my post..so basically you can piss off.
I have something beautiful that I am proud of and 2.5 carats is certainly not mediocre for me. I'd rather have the quality than size.
As for 69 carats, ridiculous, unless you want to look like a drag queen which Liz Taylor happens to look like anyway.
19. If you want to write on your diamond then do it.
I personally do not understand this country's obsession with writing names on everything. Parents drive cars with their kids names plastered all over them, everything is monogrammed ( including Nike Shox)and even huge signs in yards telling who lives there. My grandmother always said "the names of fools and monkey faces are always found in public places" and I couldnt agree more.
I know who gave me my ring and to me it would be tacky to have a name or sentiment on such a beautiful stone. I also know my children's names without them being on a magnet attached to my SUV.
20.
Alls i know is, i want a certain someone to give me that ring...
tattoo or no tattoo, i'm not too picky.
