She needs no introduction. Sthandwa Mmopi has made the country proud by representing it as a presenter on MNet Africa Studio 53 where millions of people across Africa and the world should have seen her by now.
She shot to fame soon after presenting the popular Big Brother show for BTV following her stint right here at home on Flava Dome, a music show.

Recently she finished a temporary four- month job with Kgalagadi Breweries Limited in the Corporate Affairs department.
Voice journalist Gontse Gareebine had a chat with her.
Lets take a walk down memory lane and talk about Coca Cola Flavor Dome.

I personally think that you were the best presenter that the programme ever had, cute, vivacious, and all...

How was the experience?
It was a very interesting experience. It took my life in a direction I hadn't planned at all.

But more than that, it was the best television lesson I could have asked for. I will be forever grateful.
How were the auditions for the job?

Did you have to act silly and all that?
I was very nervous as you can imagine..

.I had no idea what I was doing. And maybe that was a good thing seeing that I got the job, and I was lucky number one so that doubled the pressure!

I had to link a few songs...

you know what DJ's do. Ya..

.All I was told was where to stand, what artist to introduce and the name of the song. I think I'm a naturally silly person (in a good way of course!

) so that came very easily.
What pulled your interest to the motion pictures entertainment/media sector or did you just get lucky at the auditions?
A friend of mine convinced me to go for them.

He thought I'd be good at it. I was quite set on becoming a Chartered Accountant! Can't thank him enough.

Describe yourself in less than 15 words.
I am a very easygoing person, kind, compassionate, self-motivated (if I like what I'm doing) and very loveable J.
What clothes do you feel most comfortable in or are you one of those lucky girls who feel and look good in almost everything?

I will say that I am one of those lucky girls as I can wear and feel good in anything. As long as I am comfortable with the clothes on my back, I am fine and I do not follow any fashion trends, instead, I just go with the flow.
How many brothers and sisters do you have?

Where is your home?
Molepolole. Beautiful place don't you think?

Do you have children? Planning to? Someone special in your life or should I save my breath?

I will have kids in the next few years. What do you mean by someone special? I have a lot of special people in my life, too many to list
Do you still turn heads on the street, do people stop you and say Hey you are the Flava Dome chick!

especially that BTV still uses your Re go tshotse pay off line even though it's been a while since you've been out of the picture. Maybe they still want you at BTV?
I have to ask them if they want me back!

There are still people who call me Re go tshotse. Come on you guys and Btv, it's been years now!!

! My name will do just fine. All that happened when I was 18, which I'm not anymore so let's not get stuck in the past.

Do you watch BTV?
Yes I do watch programmes like Sedibeng, Pop Star Botswana, The Bold and the Beautiful and the news. I watch a whole lot of other programs from different channels too.

Television relaxes me.

How does it make you feel to have people (complete strangers) staring at you?
It can be a bit unnerving because half the time you don't know why someone's staring.

It could be because there's something wrong with the way I look and I just don't know, or whatever but I don't really have many people looking at me so it's not so bad.
How long did you present Flava Dome for and what have been your best and worst moments?
