In a spree that reminded the world that Katie Holmes isn’t a robot, the actress did what any young, human being with wads of cash and time on their hands would do: blew an insane amount of money on clothes.
Us Weekly reports that Mrs. Cruise spent $200,000 US last year at New York’s ultra-posh Barneys department store, where she purchased designer footwear, jeans and five bags worth of baby clothes.
“She walks around with a personal shopper and points at what she wants,” said Us Weekly’s source. “She orders different colours and a few of each. She\'s their favourite customer!

The source also revealed that the store stays open long after its regular closing hours for the one-time starlet, which is a rumour Holmes’ rep denies.
“We never have been asked to open a store for Katie Holmes after closing hours,” confirmed a Barneys rep.
It’s not clear whether Holmes is spending her own money or her hubby Tom Cruise’s, but one thing is for sure: if its Cruise’s cash, Holmes is in good standing to be inducted into the Baller and Shot Caller’s Hall of Fame.
