We got a glimpse of our future recently when we crisscrossed the middle of Florida, traveling via the back roads.
There is an interesting theological notion out there that claims sacrifice is good for the soul. In one way or another, in one translation or another, this thought makes its way into most of the world's major religions.

How often have you left a doctor's office wondering just what you were told about your health, or what exactly you were supposed to be doing to relieve or prevent a problem? If you are a typical patient, you remember less than half of what your doctor tries to explain.

What shapes does the eye see? What mood is the light creating?
This is about cell phones and Costco and grace.

Has this ever happened to you? You’re at a restaurant, relishing a meal you didn’t have to cook (which to some of us is a religious experience, much like going to a church picnic without needing to take a casserole or fan off the flies.)
