I am amazed what has come on the market in the past few months. I no longer have to whine about I tried on mesh/textile from Marsee, TourMaster (Cortech GX Air) and mesh/leather from Fieldsheer. In my view, the hands down winner is Fieldsheer's Sonic Air pant, which I bought for $154, easily the cheapest of the three and an incredible value given the features (e.

g., leather reinforcement in hips, knees, calf zip flap, bottom of cuff, butt), fit, and very good quality. I had earlier purchased the Cortech pant, which is superior to the Marsee, from another dealer but will return them shortly.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts and happy trails. ..as you suspected, I was looking for a dealer (rather than a distributor) from whom I could order a pair of Held gloves.

As you encouraged, I sent AdventureBMW an email to see if they carried the style glove I was after. Never received a reply. I was able to find a dealer was very helpful.

They had me fax them a tracing of my hand so they could determine the correct size. Got right back to me with the size to order and said they had current inventory of the particular glove I wanted. So I ordered the gloves!

Shipping costs are only about $12 based on the current exchange rate. They send them airmail and indicated I would have them in less than a week. If you want, I will let you know how it turns out.

Thanks for your help! M.F.

's follow up: I eventually got a reply from AdventureBMW about Held Held gloves through the mail. I did check out the that you shared. If the posted MSRP on this website is accurate for the style glove that I purchased, I saved about $33 by purchasing from BikeSmart in the U.
