Q: My mama passed away a few years ago and I am her only child.
Daddy has given me all of her/their items of worth, as he has been downsizing. I know that home insurance doesn t pay for damaged items that are of any worth unless they have their own insurance coverage. I have many antiques (none are furniture) and coins dating from the early 1800 s and up and also some nice jewelry (some antique).
Whom can I call to appraise my parents gifts? I would hate to have a fire or a break-in and have these special items damaged or gone.
If someone could come out to look at the antiques, that would be great!
I don t have a lot of money to do this. Any help will be appreciated.

Q: The Girl Scouts Lone Star Council is having a Thinking Day. The girls will be learning about five countries.
I thought our troop could have the girls make didgeridoos (a native Australian instrument). We are going to use empty wrapping paper rolls.
I just found out about 175 girls will be attending.
We have nowhere near the amount of empty rolls collected. Do you have any ideas where we could get these?

A: Try Central Texas Store Fixtures and Texas Store Fixrures both sell wrapping paper to retailers. Also try Breed and Co.
on 29th Street, which wraps and delivers packages.
Q: Ever since Catherine Zeta-Jones has stopped doing the commercial for T-Mobile, in an EyeMasters commercial the woman starts trying to imitate her with There might be more. She has a little 6-year-old voice trying to sound like Zeta-Jones.
It s water torture, and I think they run this commercial day and night. Am I the only person who s getting sick of it?
